Compensation: $500 for a Half-Day / Plus Travel to Hamilton Island

WANTED: Location Actor for Short Film on Hamilton Island - 16 or 17 August

​

A dedicated amateur filmmaker is currently seeking a reliable male to assist with filming various test-shots on location on Hamilton Island, scouting for an upcoming short film. The role entails appearing in various test-shots and assisting with filming on a remote beach. The short film is currently in-development and will be shot on Hamilton Island a man who gets stranded on a tropical desert Island. No acting experience needed. This job includes return Ferry transfers from Airlie Beach to Hamilton Island on the day of the shoot. 

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Accompany the director on a 1-hour hike through the national park on Hamilton Island to reach the filming location.

- Participate in various test-shots and film scenes as required.

 

**Requirements:**

- Must be over 18 years of age.

- All ages and ethnicities welcome.

- No prior experience necessary.

- Availability for filming on 16 or 17 August.

- Physical fitness and strength would be advantageous.

- Comfort with some scenes requiring nudity.

- No language requirements for this job.

 

**Compensation:**

The chosen candidate will be compensated with $500 for a half-day of work, which will take place in the morning. Additionally, travel expenses including ferry transfers will be covered.

 

**Note:**

The selected individual will be required to sign a release form prior to participating in the project.
