Seeking Two Males to Appear in Short Film

Independent production company is searching for TWO MALES to appear in a short film about the broken relationship between a father and a son. There is NO SPEAKING in the film, and pays $300 for 1-2 hours work. No acting experience needed.

The film is about a single father and his young adult son. The father has fallen on hard times, and the pair have had to move to temporary accommodation. This strains the already fraught relationship between the two. The film no dialogue from either the father or the son. Running time is about 7-10 minutes. We are looking for two individuals - one younger/one older - to appear as the father and son in this film. The film features themes of depression, family and abuse.

• FATHER (35-55yo): The father is a once-proud, masculine tradesman who has fallen on hard economic times. He loves his son and tries his best to provide for him. He is embarrassed about his financial situation. There is no dialogue or speaking as part of this role. There is some nudity required for the role. This job pays $300 for half-a-day. No acting experience is needed. Must be available on Thursday 3rd October.

• SON (18-28yo): The son is also an apprentice tradesman, is a somewhat rebellious young man who loves his dad, but resents him for the position they are in. He pulls away from his father, needs his own space and privacy. He is embarrassed about his father's situation. There is no dialogue or speaking as part of this role. There is some nudity required for the role. This job pays $300 for half-a-day. No acting experience is needed. Must be available on Thursday 3rd October.
