CASTING CALL: Actor (Male), Ages 18-50 for Short Film Series - Paid Role

Project Description: Film Series which looks at the acting process through the lens of a series of remote film auditions.

 

We are seeking expressions of interest from males currently in the Melbourne area to appear in a small number of short films featuring nudity and some mild nsfw content. 

 

We are currently casting for a unique, upcoming documentary/interview series that explores the concept of vulnerability and openness in the modern male experience. This series aims to dive deep into personal narratives, shedding light on a range of life experiences and perspectives. Content for private online fansite series called SOLO.

- Requires use of private space (home, hotel) for about 1-hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Required to self-film and submit scenes, monolouge, arrive/depart, undress, bathroom, orgasm.

• Perform in the role of a character assigned to you, 

• Respond interview/audition, engaging in conversations on various personal topics such as life experiences, personal journey stories, self-confidence, grooming, beliefs and perspectives on sex and masculinity. We will ask you about your sexual history and experiences with body image, bullying and abuse. Ability to answer questions openly and honestly.

• As a symbolic gesture of openness and vulnerability, participants will be asked to strip/undress and perform a natural orgasm (masturbation) on camera towards the end of their interview.

• Interviews take place at private locations including sometimes the subjects' homes, or hotel suites used for filming.

 

Requirements:

• Male, aged 18 or above.

• Required for roughly one-hour of filming only.

• Comfortable with being filmed and speaking candidly about personal sexual experiences and views.

• Must be fully  confidant on camera, and comfortable with nudity and filmed masturbation.

• No prior acting or on-camera experience necessary.
