Seeking 3 Actors of Japanese/Asian Appearance for Short Film

Independent production company is searching for THREE MALES to appear in a short film, and pays $250 each for 1-2 hours work. No acting experience required.

After a national championship win, three young Japanese athletes retreat to a private traditional onsen to celebrate, but as alcohol and steam strip away their public facades, a night of camaraderie spirals into a suffocating chamber thriller of violence, institutional corruption, and the secrets hidden beneath perfect masculine discipline. Running time is about 7-10 minutes. We are looking for three individuals to appear in this short film. The finished project will be screened at various film festivals and online sales.

• FATHER (35-55yo): The father is a once-proud, masculine tradesman who has fallen on hard economic times. He loves his son and tries his best to provide for him. He is embarrassed about his financial situation. There is no dialogue or speaking as part of this role. There is some nudity required for this role, as well as a scene depicting sexual abuse. This job pays $250 for half-a-day. No acting experience is needed.

• SON (18-28yo): The son is an apprentice tradesman, is a somewhat rebellious young man who loves his dad but resents him for the financial predicament they are in. He pulls away from his father, needs his own space and privacy. He is embarrassed about his father's situation. There is no dialogue or speaking as part of this role. There is some nudity required for the role as well as a scene depicting sexual abuse. This job pays $250 for half-a-day. No acting experience is needed.
