Meet the International Cast Behind James Cunningham’s ATLAS

Following an extensive international casting process, Presidential Productions has revealed six performers who will collectively embody the title role in short film ATLAS. Rather than casting a single lead, Presidential Productions embraces the creative decision to split the character of Atlas across six individual and unique actors based in different cities across the United States, each bringing their own physicality, background and emotional perspective to the role of Atlas.

Rashawn Glass, performing in San Diego, California, is an actor, artist and music producer whose creative background spans film and theatre. With early training in film and video production, Glass brings a reflective, introspective presence to the film, shaped by his experience performing across multiple mediums and online spaces. Naturally confident and athletic, Glass was the first actor cast in the role of Atlas.

Based in Los Angeles, Robert Holt portrays Atlas through the lens of elite physical training. A performer with experience in television (Law & Order), short and feature films, as well as professional fighting disciplines — including MMA and kickboxing — Holt’s interpretation of the role is informed by a life structured around physical discipline, competition and endurance.

In New York City, Aygen James contributes a distinct sensibility shaped by dance, modelling, as well as theatre. Turkish-born and California-raised, James is known for highly-physical performances that blur movement and emotion. His portrayal of Atlas explores masculinity through balance, fluidity and true vulnerability, challenging rigid ideas of masculine strength.

Geoffrey Oliver, performing in Atlanta, Georgia, brings a background rooted in classical theatre and on-camera genre work. With early recognition in stage performance and later appearances in television and web series, Oliver’s interpretation of Atlas reflects the tension between physical fitness and intellectual self-analysis, grounding the film’s themes in quiet introspection. Oliver is also a talented screenwriter currently developing his first feature film.

Also based in Georgia, Jabriel Robinson is a former collegiate athlete turned fitness model and actor. His work spans fashion, television and screen performance, including appearances in high-profile series. Robinson’s Atlas confronts the pressures of visibility; how the male body is judged, measured and consumed by others. The actor features a high-level fitness aesthetic and with it a lived-experience of societal expectation.

Completing the ensemble is Ethan Vaughan, performing in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. A United States Air Force veteran, certified personal trainer and professional actor, Vaughan brings lived experience of institutional discipline and physical conditioning. His portrayal connects masculinity to service, control, and individual identity beyond a uniform.

Together, the six performers form a composite portrait of Atlas — not as a mythic figure, but as a shared condition shaped by societal expectation. Each man’s performance stands alone while contributing to a broader, unified conversation about male identity in contemporary culture. Short film ATLAS begins productions shortly.
